Lloyd Vance is a NFL Writer, Analyst, Draft Expert, Researcher, and Historian. He began his sports research and journalism career at an early age reading and writing sports related articles in elementary school.
Lloyd attributes his love of sports to his grandfather, a former semi-pro football player, who he watched many games with, while being regaled with stories of past games and greats.
Lloyd is the "African American QB Historian" having researched, talked about, and documented the subject more than anyone. His passion to research and document the history and accomplishments of African American QB's started at the age 10. He first gathered information through football cards and articles. He later transferred his knowledge to a spreadsheet, which led to the birth of BQB-Site.com. The website is dedicated to documenting the History, News, and Accomplishments of African American Quarterbacks, many of whom had been overlooked.

•Lloyd served as a key researcher and contributor to the NFL Network's Documentary “The History of the Black Quarterback in the NFL”.
•He has been a frequent featured Senior NFL Writer on the “In The Zone” show with Rich Quinones appearing on Clear Channel 1290 AM "The Ticket" Delaware’s Sports Radio.

o Part I of the article won 2nd place in the Pro Football Researchers Association’s Coffin Corner Magazine’s 2005 Writing Contest in the Best Original Writing Pre-1960 category.
•Assisting The Field Generals with research and events. The Field Generals is a non-profit organization founded by and composed of NFL greats (Doug Williams, Warren Moon, Marlin Briscoe, James Harris and others) who are dedicated to assisting youth and teaching/preserving the history of the African American quarterback.
•Featured Writer on Comcast Sportsnet.com reviewing the film 'Invincible'
•Featured In Studio Guest on the “610 WIP Morning Show” with Angelo Cataldi on 610 AM – WIP . Talked about the Philadelphia Eagles, NFL Free Agency, and NFL Draft.
•Featured Guest on the “Jody Mac Show” with Jody McDonald on 950 ESPN. Talked about the Philadelphia Eagles, Team Needs, Overall NFL, and 2007 NFL Draft.

Lloyd is an Accredited Member of NFL Media and Philadelphia Eagles Media. He is also a Member of the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA), Pro Football Researchers Association (PFRA), and The Maxwell Football Club.
Lloyd lives outside of Philadelphia with his family.
