Vikings Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is back !!
December 15, 2007
(Philadelphia, Pa) --- Ever since Tarvaris Jackson was benched earlier in the season in favor of veteran Gus Frerotte, I preached just wait and we will see T-Jack get his chance again.
Jackson's chance came last week as he came off the bench after Frerotte injured his back to lead the Vikings to a comeback 20-16 win over the Lions to keep the Vikings on track to win the NFC North. In the game against the Lions, T-Jack was accurate and did everything to move the chains. The young thrower looked very good finishing with passing numbers 8-10, 105 yards and the game-winning touchdown pass.
In his first start since week 2, Jackson was spectacular as he led the Vikings over the Cardinals 35-14 in Arizona. T-Jack should have earned his job back as he beat a playoff team on the road throwing for great passing numbers of 11-17, 163 yards, and 4 TDs.
